What is brand photography

Here at The Marketing Heart, we try hard to drop all the fancy terminology. Or we’ll tell you exactly what it means in simple terms (we hate jargon). Brand photography is basically pictures of you, doing what you do in the environment you do it. So for instance:

Beautician – photos of you in your salon, massaging a client, painting nails, greeting a customer.

Builder – meeting a customer and going through drawings, you could be on-site measuring up or fitting a door frame.

Accountant – in your office sat at your desk, talking on the phone to a client, handing over papers to a customer.

Cake Baker – in the kitchen mixing ingredients, taking a cake out of the oven, sat on the sofa eating a big slice of cake.

Fashion Designer – you cutting fabric, drawing designs on paper or with someone modelling your designs.

Yoga Teacher – teaching a class, you in various yoga poses, relaxing or meditating.

It’s about creating bespoke images that reflect you, your business and your products. In a world where everything is online, and you have to stand out, having individual images that customers can relate to is so very important. People buy people. You’ve probably heard that before. Instead of buying stock imagery (that’s images you can buy from the internet) that are not a true representation of your business, why not show exactly what you want to, by having a collection of images created especially for you.

Not only that, but it shows what your business core values are, is your brand fun and bright, are you affordable and simple, are you professional and experienced? All of this can be conveyed in your images.

 

But then what?

You have a wonderful selection of images you can use on your website, social media, and any print marketing you do.

How does it work:

Step 1 – We’ll set up a quick zoom call (don’t worry we won’t take up too much of your time). We want to understand exactly what your business is about and the most important things you want to communicate to your customers. We’ll talk about locations, clothing, props, and products.

Step 2 – We’ll send you some guidance about your shoot. If you’re in an office, we may suggest you tidy things away, getting rid of all the faff that we all have laying around (think piles of paper, recycling bins, pictures of the family dog on your desk. We’ll give you plenty of time to think about the day and plan what you need.

Step 3 – The shoot, very few of us like being in front of the camera – us included. But don’t worry, we’ll be there to guide you and make you look your best. We capture a wide variety of shots that will give you a collection of images perfect for your brand.

Step 4 – A couple of weeks after your shoot, you’ll receive all of your images in digital format (this means that you can download them straight to your computer). We’ll provide you with a folder of high resolution and web-friendly images.

How far do we travel?

Within a 35 mile radius is free, mileage and expenses will be charged after that. Please discuss this at the time of booking.

How does monthly billing work?
